Easy Oven Deep Clean

I think we can all agree the Oven clean isn’t the most exciting thing to do.

Over the last year I have found little tips and methods that make cleaning the oven so much easier and effortless, i am going to show you how to get your oven spotless in just a few simple steps.

Using the insette oven spray just 99p from my local savers shop, i will spray all the oven covering everything, this foam will be left to sit for 30 minutes.. yes your grease, grime, burned on food is been scrubbed up while you sit and relax!.

After your cup of tea and a chapter of your book has been read, when you come back to your oven after 30+ minutes the foam will have done all the hard work for you and all the lifted grime will be sat at the bottom of the oven and no scrubbing was required!

Next i get a bowl of hot water and a good washing up liquid i use Teepol Gold  this is a concentrated detergent which is perfect when working against grease, and also a sponge and give the oven a good wipe round and rinse off any excess product that may be left behind.

Your oven should be much cleaner by now but what about the racks?

Start by adding the racks to the bath and running the hottest water possible just enough to cover the racks completely, add 2-3 caps of Fabric conditioner in the bath and leave to soak for about an hour.

Using a brillo or abrassive pad wipe over the racks and all the burned on food and grime will fall away effortlessly!! The hours i’d previously spend scrubbing the racks had turned in to a 5 minute wipe down and they came up perfectly clean.
